Diversity Equity Inclusion Consultant at Truist Corporation
Ms. Melissa Early is a Korean American adoptee, soldier, single mother, diversity, equity & inclusion consultant. During the COVID-19 crisis, she facilitated a mental health program nationally for thousands of teammates at Truist affected by combat stress, economic downturns, and uncertainties. Ms. Early has also developed the engagement model for Truist’s business resources groups and led the transition to virtual engagement to adjust to the pandemic. Ms. Early has demonstrated great bravery, judgment, and zest in her multiple roles. She has consistently grown the BRG membership at Truist while managing a global pandemic and an ongoing merger between BB&T and SunTrust. Recently, she supported Hispanic Heritage Month efforts as they engaged over 3,000 teammates during the Cafe con Leche series building a healthier workplace in COVID-19 times.
