Executive Director, Korean American Family Services
Ms. Katherine Yeom oversees the Korean American Family Services in Los Angeles, one of the most vulnerable communities hit hardest by COVID-19. KAFS provides food, economic, and mental health support to Korean American senior citizens and undocumented families in the Los Angeles area. In particular, KAFS has been actively supporting those negatively impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic and the economic downturn. Ms. Yeom has been working in mental health, domestic and family violence, children and youth wellness, and social welfare for foster children for over a decade.
